Information We Collect About You

The website created by Rideau for our Corporate Customers may require registration and authentication using your email address or a single sign-on process in order for you to access the services. Rideau does not sell, rent, or otherwise give your email address to any third party without your consent.

In cases where the website includes the possibility of purchasing items or services with a credit card, we will ask for your name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, credit card security code, and credit card expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your request and notify you with confirmation and/or update messages. We will not sell credit card information or share it with any third parties without your express permission other than in connection with the processing of the credit card transaction, where applicable.

Rideau may also collect Personal Information when you interact on the website. The Personal Information we collect about you will vary by context and may include:

In addition, we receive some information from your Employer (our Corporate Customer) about you such as name, employee ID, hire date, employment status, office location and business contact information.

Personal Information submitted through the website will be used for the purposes specified in our contract with the Customer and this Policy or on the relevant pages of the website. We may use your Personal Information for the following:

  1. Enabling your use of the services on the website;
  2. Sending you goods purchased through the website;
  3. Supplying services purchased through the website;
  4. Sending you non-marketing commercial communications;
  5. Sending you email notifications that you have specifically requested;
  6. Dealing with inquiries and complaints made by or about you relating to our website;
  7. If you registered on our Corporate website, we may send you marketing communications relating to our business or the businesses of carefully-selected third parties which we think may be of interest to you, by post or, where you have specifically agreed to this, by email or similar technology.

CAN SPAM Act for Canadian Residents and GDPR for EU Residents
